| Horizons London SW9
The Horizons leisure centre replaces a previous small pool in the school grounds. The pool was completed in spring 2004. The pool building is adjacent to an earlier phase of work, an accommodation block for students. The pool is to be used by the Primary School children, and out of hours by their families and other members. The centre also includes treatment rooms, jacuzzi and gym. A large meeting area on the first floor is used for viewing during school use and at other times it becomes a socal hospitality bar serving light refreshments. Due to the extended use of the pool, it l provides an invaluable local amenity and is self-financing. Architecturally the new building is designed to nestle behind the school perimeter wall. Internally the pool hall overlooks the school playground and relates to the Victorian School Board buildings and the new Link Building complex.
